JSM picks up the prestigious RoSPA Gold Award for the second year in a row

For the second consecutive year JSM has been named a winner of the Gold Award at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards.

This highly sought after award has been presented to JSM by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents scheme who recognise and celebrate businesses and organisations that exhibit excellence in safety performance.

JSM will be presented with the internationally recognised award at an award ceremony on 20th June 2016 at ExCeL London.

Mick Barrett, JSM’s SHEQ Director, comments, “I would like to thank everyone at JSM for their hard work and commitment to ensure compliance, especially the SHEQ department who helped us achieve this award with their hard work. The team remarkably submitted over 240 individual pieces of evidence, totalling over 12,000 words, to judges at the established annual scheme run by RoSPA.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”
