Family Action distribute presents to families in challenging circumstances across the country. For many of these children, the present they receive from the Toy Appeal is the only one they will have this Christmas.
Claire Parsons, our Environmental Manager organised the appeal and helped to drop off a number of presents to the Children’s Centre in Letchworth. They will distribute the gifts on our behalf to local disadvantaged children.
The Family Action team said:
“With your help we have been able to provide toys and gifts to over 11,000 children and families this Christmas. We can’t thank you enough for your incredible support.”
In addition to this, we’ve also donated to the Kids Out Giving Tree which distributes Christmas presents to children fleeing domestic abuse.
