This page explains how JSM Group Services Limited (“JSM”, “we”, “us”) and its subsidiaries collect and use personal data in connection with this website, and the cookies the site uses. JSM Group Services Limited is the data controller for the personal data collected about you through this website.

The information we collect

When you visit our website we may collect some information automatically, such as your IP address and browser type. When you complete a form, subscribe to our newsletter or correspond with us, we collect the information you provide. We may therefore hold:

• Contact information including name, job title, organisation, email address, postal address and telephone number
• Additional information you choose to give us, such as the content of an enquiry
• Technical information about your device and how you use the site, including your IP address

How we use your information and our lawful basis

We process personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We use your information to:

• Respond to enquiries, complaints, queries or suggestions you send us
• Send you information you have asked for, including our newsletter
• Provide information about our business that we think may interest you, where you have agreed to receive it
• Process your interest in a career with us
• Keep our website secure and working, and improve it

Our lawful bases are: performing a contract or taking steps at your request before one; complying with our legal obligations; our legitimate interests in running our business and responding to those who contact us; and your consent where we rely on it, which you can withdraw at any time.

Sharing, retention and transfers

We share personal data with the providers who host, secure and support our website and the analytics and content services we use, each of which processes data on our behalf under a contract that meets UK GDPR requirements, and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.

We keep personal data for as long as is needed for the purposes it was collected for, in line with our Retention Schedule, and thereafter only where the law requires or a legitimate interest continues.

Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK we rely on the UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, so that it remains protected to UK standards.

Security

We keep your personal data confidential and apply organisational and technical measures, aligned to our ISO 27001 certified Information Security Management System, to protect it from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, loss or alteration. Personal data is handled only by those whose role requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to be informed about how it is used, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Please tell us if the information we hold about you is no longer accurate. We may need further information from you to deal with a request, and if we cannot fulfil it we will explain why.
