JSM had the honour of sponsoring the Prime Consultancy Group Golf Day, a fantastic event that brought together people for a great cause.

Through the energy and generosity of everyone involved, the day raised vital funds for Hayley’s Heroes – a charity that helps young adults aged 18 to 45 living with cancer create special and lasting memories with their loved ones.

Martyn Crocker, Head of Business Development, JSM, said “We were delighted to support the Prime Consultancy Group Golf Day. Held at the Weald of Kent, the event was superbly organised and the generosity shown throughout the event was truly humbling. It’s a privilege to know the funds raised will go towards helping Hayley’s Heroes continue their incredible work in creating joyful, lasting memories for young adults facing cancer.

Congratulations to all who made the day the success it was!

On 21st May 2025, a team of dedicated JSM Group Ltd employees rolled up their sleeves and volunteered their time and energy to support the Ealing Beaver Project – a pioneering urban rewilding initiative. Working alongside project co-founder Elliot Newton and Urban Rewilding Officer Digby Wheeler, the team contributed to vital habitat maintenance and public access improvements at the site.

The day began with the restoration of an overgrown access path. Using tools such as bowsaws, loppers, spades, and digging forks, the team cleared excess vegetation and encroaching trees. The aim was to create a safer, more accessible route for the public to reach the beaver ponds, while also discouraging use of unofficial and potentially damaging pathways.

In addition to the pathway, two JSM volunteers went above and beyond by donning chest waders and stepping into the water to remove litter and debris from the beaver enclosure. Items such as shopping trolleys, drink cans, and overgrown vegetation were cleared to ensure the water remained clean and safe for the resident beavers. While beavers are naturally adept at managing their environment – a fascinating fact we learned during our time on site – heavier waste items require human intervention.

By the end of the day, the team had successfully created a welcoming new pathway for local residents and improved the water quality within the beaver habitat. It was a rewarding and inspiring experience for all involved, and we look forward to one day returning to continue supporting this incredible project.

It was fantastic to have the brilliant team from JSM join us at Paradise Fields, home of the Ealing Beaver Project. Their hard work made a real impact; from building a vital new footpath to help us manage our ‘beaver deceiver’ water control system, to clearing reeds and removing trolleys from the pond to improve beaver viewing. We even explored the site together, sharing insights into beaver ecology and their incredible activities. A huge thank you to JSM for their generous support. We hope to see you again on more rewilding projects across London, helping nature and people thrive together.

said Elliot Newton, Co-Founder.

JSM Group Ltd. chose to volunteer for this initiative not only because of its environmental significance but also because of its strong community impact. The project’s goal is to create a safe and sustainable habitat for beavers while helping to prevent flooding in the local area – benefiting both wildlife and the surrounding community. At JSM, we are passionate about giving back. Supporting our communities is at the core of who we are. Since 2021, JSM has proudly contributed over 351 hours of volunteer work, a testament to our ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference.

As part of our Community Grant scheme, designed to support causes close to our employees’ hearts, we’re proud to back Kent Crusaders.

Our donation supported their recent awards evening – a brilliant celebration recognising dedication, achievement and community spirit.

We were touched to receive a message of thanks from Adam, Head Basketball Coach;

On behalf of everyone at Kent Crusaders, I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for your generous sponsorship of our awards evening. Your support played a key role in making the event a memorable celebration of achievement and community. I am truly grateful for your contribution.

We’re always pleased to help local organisations make a positive impact.

Last week, a group of JSM volunteers had the privilege of supporting Cranborne Primary School with vital maintenance work and what an incredibly rewarding two days it was!

Our team transformed the school’s playground into a brighter, more welcoming space. We repaired and repainted outdoor picnic benches, turning them from worn and unsafe into cheerful, safe spots where children can enjoy their break times.

We also tackled key health and safety upgrades to two emergency exits, replacing steps and a wheelchair ramp, all built using sustainable, repurposed wood. We’re proud to have delivered improvements that make a real difference, while keeping sustainability at the heart of our work.

Amanda Lehmann, School Business Manager, Cranborne Primary School said;

At a time when school budgets are under pressure, the financial savings from JSM’s generous contribution mean that we can now invest more into resources that directly benefit our children. We are truly grateful for their hard work, generosity, and the positive impact they’ve had on our school community.

“Thank you to Constance Dickie MCIM, Claire Parsons and the whole JSM team for coming to our rescue! We look forward to working with you again this Summer.

A huge thank you to Cranborne Primary School for the warm welcome, and to our amazing JSM team for showing what community spirit looks like in action.

As part of our Community Grant scheme, set up to help support causes our employees are involved in, we are proud to contribute to the Norsemen FC U15 side.

A local grassroots youth football side, Norsemen required funding for tour tops ahead of playing in a tournament.

Norsemen tour manager, Natalia Kelly, said:

We are extremely grateful to JSM. This will be the boys’ last season together so the tops will hold special significance for players and parents alike.

JSM Group Services is proud to champion our communities and contribute to meaningful change. We are excited to continue our Community Grant initiatives and work alongside local organisations to build a brighter future.

JSM Group Services is proud to announce our recent support for Basildon Phoenix Swimming Club through a sports grant, supporting financial stability during the refurbishment of their home pool at Basildon Sporting Village.

Led by former Olympian Doug Campbell, the club provides top tier coaching to over 400 swimmers, from young learners to international competitors. As Essex and the East Region’s leading swim club, they rely on hosting galas for essential funding. With the pool closing for over five months from April 2025, this income source has been disrupted.

Our grant, part of the Community Grant initiative, will help the club through this period. We remain committed to supporting local organisations and making a lasting impact.
