ADVISORY

High-risk, high-cost, high-complexity – all very real pressures that come with digital infrastructure and HV power solutions. Which is why JSM Advisory sits at the front end of your project, working with developers, city planners, business owners, and utility companies to de-risk strategy, validate feasibility and build confidence before infrastructure construction starts.

Because we have delivered numerous scale projects ourselves, we know what works in reality to turn complexity into clarity. From route feasibility, design viability, stakeholder coordination and cost modelling. We combine decades of delivery experience with expert oversight to help ensure faster approvals, fewer scope surprises, reduced cost exposure. And the confidence to move forward with certainty.

INVESTING IN PEOPLE BEHIND THE PROJECTS

Based in Barking, East London, with excellent transport links and free off-road parking, the JSM Group Training Centre delivers a wide range of nationally accredited training programmes built around the evolving needs of the construction and utilities sectors. Our state-of-the-art facility features a purpose-built Street Works Training Hangar, opened in 2023. It lets us deliver fully accredited New Roads & Street Works Act (NRSWA) training in a safe, controlled and weatherproof environment, all year round.

Our training is recognised by the following national awarding bodies:

  • CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) — SMSTS, SSSTS and Refreshers
  • CABWI — New Roads & Street Works, all modules for Supervisors and Operatives, including Hot Lay
  • NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) — Excavators, Dumpers, Telehandlers and more
  • Ladder Association — Ladder Safety Training for Inspectors and Users
  • Energy & Utility Skills — Sector-recognised qualifications and assessments, including SHEA Core, Gas, Telecoms, Power and Water Hygiene
  • NUCO Training — EFAW (1 day) and First Aider (3 days)
  • Sigma — Driver CPC training

There’s serious real-world experience behind every course we teach. As one of the UK’s leading infrastructure engineering companies, we don’t just teach this work — we do it every day, on complex, high-risk projects for Tier 1 clients.

Power — Designing and installing power networks for everything from data centres and renewables to transport and defence.

Digital Infrastructure — Delivering complete grid connections and resilient private networks for clients who can’t afford to fail.

Advisory — Applying our hands-on expertise to manage design, compliance and liaison with councils and national agencies.
